Good morning beautiful,
There are contracts sitting in inboxes right now that have not cleared. There are conversations that sounded promising that have not turned into signed agreements yet. I am building. I am hoping. I am waiting. And the white twinkle lights in my house are still on.
It is March. The season is changing. The world feels loud. Things feel unsure. But in my house, the lights are still glowing in the middle of the day like they do not need permission to shine. I have not rushed to take them down. I have not decided that beauty must wait for proof.
I used to believe joy should come after the yes. After the deposit. After the confirmation. I thought I should relax only once everything was secure. But this season is teaching me something different. I can live well while I wait.
Spring does not bloom overnight. It starts under the ground. Roots grow where no one can see them. Just because nothing looks different does not mean nothing is happening. That feels important right now. Just because the contract has not cleared does not mean I am stuck. It means I am in process.
So I am still having slow mornings. I am still asking for pancakes when I want something yummy. I am still meeting my good good girlfriends at Aldi. I am still junk journaling softness into my life. I am still sipping coffee on the balcony. I am still buying small, beautiful things that make me feel alive.
This is not denial. This is identity.
I am not waiting to feel good until everything works out. I am choosing to feel grounded while it works itself out. That is different. That is grown.
Beautiful, you do not have to turn off your lights just because things are pending. You do not have to postpone your joy until it is proven safe. You are allowed to trust your season. You are allowed to believe that roots are growing even when you cannot see them.
The contracts are pending, and the twinkle lights are still on. That is not foolish. That is faith in who you are becoming.
Love always,
Your most Magical Self ππ
